Multiple schlepps can be a problem too, particularly if you're anchoring out
for extended periods. We use a compromise contraption that works well for
us. It is a plastic garbage can with a handle in the lid that flips up and lets
you "smush" the contents by pushing down. The result is usually fairly
compact but not seriously heavy AND it uses any kind of tall kitchen garbage bag
you want. I can't recall where I got ours but I've seen them in several of the
"nautical stuff" catalogs. Low tech and efficient. That gives me one of
those. Now I have to deal with the bazillion other things I over-complicated.....
