I use Bristol in South Texas. Would use it as opposed to varnish for any work outside. Price is made up for by the ability to apply severl coats in a day and only need two or three sandings - after first preperation - for a dozen coats. Application is easy to learn but will spoil your regular varnish technique.

This product sounds great in Passage Maker but it's really pricey.
Has anyone used this and what's your opinion vs polyurethane or straight
varnish?
I've got a lot of rail work to do!
