Hello All,
For what it's worth, every time I was cruising in the 1000 Islands area, the
least expensive fuel was at the marina in Cape Vincent. You can also clear
US Customs there in person when returning from Canadian waters. I used to fill
up at Winter Harbor in Brewerton when northbound for the Canadian canal
systems in the spring, never bought any fuel up there for the entire summer, and
refueled at Cape Vincent on the way back south in the fall. Worked well for
me, YMMV.

Hello All:
I recently returned from six weeks of boating in the 1000 Islands area. For
diesel I paid US$3.89 per gallon at Sackett's Harbour (Navy Point) and
US$2.99
at Alexandria Bay (Bonny Castle). On the Canadian side (Kingston) I paid
CAN$1.10 per litre which translates to about US$3.65 per gallon.
