According to the Web site, the max recommended HP for the 10 foot Sportsman is
25 hp. I wonder how you justify exceeding this by 60%?
I have never owned or driven a "boss" boat--but 40 hp on a 10 foot boat,
unless a racing hydroplane (and even then most of those had much smaller
engines) sounds like a pattern for diseaster.
