We have had a Boss Boat 10 ft Sportsman model as a tender for 18 months.
Having had all manner of tenders over the last 25 years, the Boss Boat is
    the best yet.
Last year while diving on a reef in the Bahamas in weather we should not
have been out in, we we got too close to the reef and were sucked into a
10ft (20 ft top to trough) breaking wave which broke directly into the
boat. Everything not attached was washed overboard. We accelerated
immediately on plane with the boat full of water and turned and rode the
next wave back across the reef. The boat is seaworthy.
We have the largest recommended engine 40 hp. We have a Tohatsu 2 stroke
low emmission direct injection engine. We easily plane with 4 adults and
    their dive gear.
The boat with engine and full 12 gal gas tank and usual tender equipment
    weighs almost 600 lbs.
