I can confirm lots of floating and suspended junk, around Love Point and
Chester River. I herd that the some of the dams were open to alleviate the
pressure on the dams from the rain storms. The fishing is lousy too from
all the debris, sediment, and change in salinity. I would carefully monitor
Ch 16 to know where the hull busters are located.

FYI, I'm sure it may have been mentioned before but I figured I'd put
it out here just in case.. There is a TON of debris in the water
when I went over to the Kent Narrows from Annapolis yesterday. I saw
logs, tires, pipes, buckets, and even more logs. Some of the 4th of
July transients to my marina reported even seeing floating
refrigerators!! I'm not trying to cause hysteria, but if you are
transiting the bay and you start to see debris slow way down and have
as much watch as possible!! Who knows what else is floating down
there!!
