Dan,
I gave up on inflatables. We had a 13' Avon Supersport RIB that came
with our 49' Defever. Nice boat, but I got tired of patching it, and
having to pump it up each time we used it. The tubes also consumed a
large amount of the available space.
We recently purchased a Carolina Skiff J12 with 25HP motor. In my
opinion, this is the perfect tender. Lots of room, rugged, unsinkable,
and maintenance free. My only regret is that I did not buy one sooner!
