    Bob,

I use the Verizon air card in the course of my day to day business as
a computer service company. I use it for the laptop in my Suburban
(service vehicle) and connect in the morning as I leave for my service
all rounds. The connection stays active all day until I shut it down
in the early evening when I return home. No dropped connections.

However, if I insert the card in the KR1, then I usually lose
connection at least twice daily, requiring a reboot of the KR1. I
think this is more an issue with the router. I am hoping that a
firmware update will resolve the issue,

In the meantime, I am content to reboot the router periodically for
the convenience of having Internet access on multiple PC's as we
    cruise on the boat.
