T&T: Protecting the rop

      Hi All,
     I was wondering if a cage constructed around the
    prop would eliminate the danger from fouling on
    lines.
     If the cage was anchored at the hull where the
    shaft exits, surrounding both the shaft and the
    prop (like a cone on it's side, wide end at the
    prop) and supported at the prop end. Would this
    not cause the lines (and kelp, here on the West
    Coast) to glide right on by without fouling?
     Just a thought...
