    That breaker wouldn't likely trip, would it? And even if it did, I think the
    battery would be up to supplying current for quite some time. It would seem
    prudent to have an alternate supply from the house bank, just in case...
     
    Does anyone know how much current it takes to run these electronic control
    systems?

    circuit breaker in the alternator output.
    If that beraker pops, then you lose battery charging and poof goes the
    engine.
