    Bill,
    Try looking at the battery positive terminals for small (#16-10) wires with
    or without fuses. Many owners add bilge pumps and run their power supplies
    direct to the batteries. Next, look at the battery switch terminals. These
    may also be used to attach bilge pumps directly to batteries without the
    possibility of disconnection by any switch or breaker. Either practice is
    acceptable, but only if protected by a suitable in-line fuse. Use exactly
    the size fuse recommended by the pump manufacturer. Larger fuses could
    result in a fire if the pump is jammed by debris and stalls without drawing
    enough current to blow the fuse.
