    Hello Gene

I have both the NAV NET (older version) Radar and plotter and a PC using
Nobeltec VNS I find the Nobeltec much more fully functioned and user friendly
than the NAV NET. I would go with the VNS over the Admiral only because it's
more than adequate and much more common easier to get advise if you need it. I
would go with Furuno for your radar utilizing the NAV NET display it will give
you the ability to have a backup plotter now or later for only the expense
of charts and receiver antenna. I've installed lots of auto pilots and would
definitely go Simrad Robertson I've seen to many problems and poor performance
from the others not to say they don't work just not as well. I also agree
with the previous poster who suggested having a dedicated PC for your plotter I
guess if your a computer guru you can make most anything work. I'm not and
PC's are cheap so it works for me Just my humble opinion.

    Good Luck Brian Palmetto FL
