John, check to see if you picked up a crab pot line or some other debris.
That often gives the same symptoms.

Subject: T&T: Ford Lehman Power Loss

While cruising along at 2000 RPM the Port engine (SP 225 Turbocharged)
suddenly lost power and dropped significant RPM. Idled the engines down and
did a visual and all looked OK, no visible fluid leaks, no excessive smoke,
idled fine, all fluid levels OK, temp and oil pressure OK.
Further attempts to get under way resulted in an extremely sluggish port
engine with very low power that ran fine otherwise. I suspect something
happened to the Turbo. Has anyone experienced this? What is the failure mode
of the Turbos and how would one check them out? Are there controllers for
them or any valves or waste gates that can fail? Any other ideas? Appreciate
    any advice.

    Thanks,
