Keep in mind that it is only a documented vessel that is required to
have 4" lettering.
Whether or not 4" lettering looks "stupid" is a matter of opinion, of
course, and depends on the size of the boat. On Sanderling, at only 35
feet, they look just fine. On Mariner of the Seas, you'd never see them
at 4". On a runabout, . . . well, you get the idea!
