Ron et al,
I leave it to others to find the actual regulation but a site I used when we
started the Canadian leg last year,
http://boating.ncf.ca/canadaborder.html
says "Visting boaters staying in Canadian waters less than 45 days will be
exempt from some Canadian regulations for operator licensing and differences
in required equipment".
I choose to leave the roofing hatchet in the storage facility.
