For twice the money, you can afford to change the entire system out

The Noeltec radar system is using the underlying PC (MS Windows) system.
I had a sample of that to watch the other day. The radar froze up. I
would never willingly have my radar using Windows as the operating
system, unless it was just a backup.
I could use considerably stronger language to express my thoughts on
this, but I think you get the picture, without further details.
