    Nothing is ever perfect aboard a boat. Unless the shaft is bar straight, the
    propeller perfectly balanced, the shaft supported by an intermediate bearing,
    and the cutlass bearing brand new, there will always be a slight wobble. Even
    the engine vibrating on its rubber mounts will cause stuffing box to exhibit a
    minimal wobble.

    Keep an eye on it. As long as the wobble does not increase, enjoy your boat.
    It's just another thing to worry about. And I'll bet you thought boating was a
    relaxing activity - -
