Boaters traveling the Hudson River can treat themselves to the annual Bear
Mountain 4th of July fireworks display. It is scheduled for June 30, the last
Friday before the 4th. The view from the water is exceptional.
There is ample anchorage in the bay just south of the Bear Mountain bridge.
Many boaters come early, party and play until the 8 pm blast off, then spend
the night at anchor.
The Palisades Parkway Commission usually puts on a gala show. Watch some of
our tax dollars going up in smoke.
