    Hello Bob

    High oil level will not increase oil pressure the two are probably unrelated.
    First get a mechanical gauge and see if you actually have high oil pressure
    electric gauges are notoriously inaccurate. If the pressure is normal then it's
    the sender or the gauge usually the sender. If you actually have high
    pressure it's probably a relief valve that's stuck or broken.
