If you are talking about the gasket that fits in the groove and compresses
when the port is closed, gum rubber surgical tubing works well. You should be
able to get short lengths of the tubing at most surgical equipment supply
stores. You know, the places where they sell canes and elastic stockings. Buy
    a few
short snips of varying sizes to see which seals best. Put a light coating of
rubber cement in the groove to hold the tubing in place. Remember the gap, if
any, should be at the top.
