We've completed the Durabak / Cote-L recoating project. It cured quickly
this time, and it lost its tacky quality within a few hours. We will be
placing chairs and anchor boxes back on deck this week and launching, and
will let the list know how it lasts over the season. So far, so good. At
this point, water on the deck is beading up and able to be swept off easily.
Some dust that landed on deck was easily able to be hosed off, and no longer
    sticks to the surface.

I wanted to take the opportunity to second Laura's statement about
    Cote-L customer service.

We had a similar problem with the coating remaining tacky. After
emailing Cote-L, I received a phone call to discuss the problem. Turns
out there should have been an accelerant shipped with the paint. They
have now reformulated the paint so that it does not require the
    accelerant.
