There has been a lot of discussion on the List about this recently Jim. You
might want to check the archives. I have a fairly new, larger capacity model
Splendide and I'm quite satisfied with it. Venting is the way to go. As to
whether to use a Laundromat instead well that's a very personal decision.
The dollars spent on the machine would not compare to the much cheaper costs
of using a Laundromat. I find the washer/dryer very convenient and the dryer
itself is useful in wet weather! On the other hand, talking of appliances, I
doubt I would spend the money on a TV Sat system such as KVH- TV isn't that
important to me. A DVD player and movies, yes. It's all a matter of taste.
