I've heard it said that watermakers shouldn't be run in fresh water. Why
is that? Is it detremental to their operation?
I have limited space for tankage needed to support full-time. Anticipating
more time on hook than marinas. Can a watermaker do this in a freshwater
environment?. Put another way, is it practicible to draw water from
America's fresh waterways (Great Lakes)to support life on the boat? Are
there systems to .." clean, purify, sanitize, make safe..". I know a
watermaker isn't a filter,,,,but doesn't seem likle too much is going to go
across the membrane. Are there folks who have a system in place? Oliver
