Per the John Deere web site, the 4045 turbo requires 150 cfm at 1800 RPM. It
also states that at that RPM, the fuel consumption would be 4.6 GPH. I believe
that the air flow per gallon of fuel burned will be relatively constant. so
perhaps at the Max RPM of 2600 and 150 HP, consuming 7.8 GPH, the air flow
would be about 255 CFM. I have no idea how to calculate the square feet of opening
to the engine room required to give you essentially no pressure drop.
