Hi Lino,
Find a shipyard who is a "certified Awlgrip applicator" and make a deal with
them to split their discount, as I doubt you could do better on price. That
aside, there may be a danger in your supplying the paint. If something goes
wrong with the application, you may not have recourse because the yard will
blame it on "defective product" and the onus will be on you to prove it wasn't.
Just my 0.02

Hi,
I decided to have the boat sprayed with Awlgrip. It's a Grand Banks 49
(fiberglass).
I will procure the materials myself . The shipyard indicated 8 sets (one
gallon each) for the topcoat and
12 sets (one gallon each) for priming. I am not able to judge before to buy
(sustaining the cost to ship overseas)
I would like to have some comments about those figures.
What's the white in Awlgrip catalog that better match the GB original color?
Where do you suggest to buy?
Thank you in advance
Lino
