Data roaming between Telus and Verizon only applies to devices which
are supported by both partners. This peculiar arrangements means
that my Verizon Treo will _not_ work (for data) on the Telus
network. If I were using a Blackberry, I could use it on both sides
of the border. But who would want a Blackberry when one can have a Treo?

For data in Canada, I have to maintain a separate (outrageously
expensive) account with Telus. This is enough to drive to me to GSM.

    Best,

    Steve
