Ralph, if you are tightening the hose clamps with a screw driver, you may not
be able to get them tight enough. Use a bigger screw driver, maybe a small
wrench on the screwdriver to get extra leverage.
Or try a ratchet on the hex head hose clamp screw..if it isn't hex shaped, get
another brand that is.
Also, you need to be sure the pipe nipple is clean..any debris may cause an
irregularity and a leak. Always wipe the inside of the hose and the outside of
the nipple with a rag or paper towel to be sure they are free from crud.
