It's that time of year for a bottom job and I need to strip the paint.

She's 20 years old and I don't know how many coats there are and

I would like to start with a clean bottom.

I'm looking at 2 different products to strip the paint.

One is called Rock Miracle Marine Remover 3 from Coastal Marine on Line.com

The other is either Aqua Strip or Multi Strip from Ready-Strip.

Has anyone had any experience with these products or any suggestions?

All advice is more that appreciated. Thanks

    Hello Peter

Before you buy any chemicals go to Home Depot and buy a Carbide blade pull
scraper I think you will be amazed at how quickly it works. The blades are
replaceable and not all that expensive you'll want one about 2" wide. Because
it's a pull scraper you won't be gouging the hull and after trying it you'll
probably see the chemicals aren't worth the expense or the mess.
