CAUTION!!!!
Before using a muffler rated at less than half your engine rating, I'd sure
check with the muffler manufacturer.
I'm almost certain none would recommend such an application, otherwise they
would have a higher rating on the muffler. It's guaranteed Volvo would not
approve.
The downside for backpressure beyond your engine specs is a big repair
bill...and not just one....it's not worth the risk.
