    It will be good news if it works because Dacron Plait would be a highly
    abrasion resistant anchor line with stretch close to Nylon. Please keep us
    posted.

      SECO South does the rigging for Lewmar (formerly S/L) and have been using
    Yale's Brait quite a bit now. It appears to be designed for windlass use.
    Unlike a conventional double brain, Brait has no core. It is hollow and lays
    down flat. How will it do in the gypsy? Time will tell but since I do the
    largest part of my anchoring in shallow water, I doubt that I'll have much
    opportunity to test this out.
