Hey folks,
I have an old 110vac Ideal windlass on my 81 Krogen. I have not done any
research or called Ideal yet, but, has any one replaced the exsisting motor
starter with a reversing starter / contactor? Can you swap windings on this?
The darn thing pulls the anchor up great, but with 300 foot of chain, paying
it out is quite the challange! Just a PITA esp in deep water. I don't have the
intentions right now to replace the whole thing with a 12 volt model. Thanks
