I think I wrote that in the post they are ~$40 ea by a container load direct
from the factory in China, not from UBC. UBC is entitled to make a profit I
think ;-)
UBC is just one of many importers of these batteries in the US. There is a
seller on EBAY that sometimes has them for well under a $100. You might keep
a watch there. Do a search on AGM Battery.
Perhaps the US has a tariff or some other charge on batteries that we don't
see. This could always affect 'your price' vs. 'ours'.
