Robin, Rob, Phil and all,
I too have switched over to 110V for my "commodity" items. One of the best
things we have done is to switch to compact fluorescent 110V bulbs in our
lamps. They put out great light with low consumption, unlike our 12V lamps
which are like striking a match!
