Actually I think 17' 5" will do the trick. This past October, due to
lowered lake levels in Lake MI we were able to get down the Cal Sag at 19'
2. I dont know about any of the northern passages as Im not completely
retired yet and havent been that way. My understanding is that the lowest
place on the loop is mile 305 on the Cal Sag. Someone here will correct me
if Im wrong. Prbably even bash me for locking through with my fenders over
the side or steering with the wrong hand but they cant type very well cause
their index finger is up there nose anyway. So there!!! :<)

I'm new to this site and would like to know if anyone knows of a
hinge that can be installed in a mast. I have a 44 Marine Trader
Europa. The mast with radar on top is 20'5" above the water, would
like to hinge it so I can hopefully get under 15'. Would like to travel
anywhere on the Great Loop.
Thanks
Bob
