    > Does anyone have a method to keep the ducks off? We are in the process of
making a new teak swim platform and would like to build in some sort of
    "duck proofing".

    Robert,

Paint your bimini a camouflage color, paint your face and hands with camo
grease, stand under the bimini with a broom handle and blow really, really
long and hard on a duck call. Guaranteed you will not see a duck for days!

(Don't ask me how I know this.)
