Never had my boat there, but went up for the Annapolis power boat show a few
years ago. If you ever do this, try to stay Sunday night, get a spot
upstairs on the deck at Pussers, and watch all the boats leave. There isn't
much better entertainment anywhere in the world! It's an amazing cloud of
diesel smoke, as ALL these boats have to leave, right then. They all start
up, the outer layer leaves, then they remove a layer of floating temporary
docks, and the next batch leaves, etc. etc. Of course, you've got a bunch
who have to exit via Ego Alley, with various antics, planned and accidental.
Lots of cheering, laughing, Pussers Painkillers of course... I think the
best round of applause came when a BIG steel trawler turned his searchlight
on us. I don't know what it was, but it made most aircraft landing lights
pale in comparison. Quite an experience!
