What is amazing about the kayakers there is that they work themselves into
a spot where the boat remains stationary with a huge rush of water
underneath it. They then occasionally "lose it" and get swept
upstream. This is a great place to visit (without going through the rapids
-- you can walk there). Sechelt has the Backeddy Pub with the
Skookumchuck" Burger, which has to be the world's largest --- easily a meal
    for two hungry people.

    Best,

    Steve
