In trying to figure out why WAAS performance was poor this past summer (no
luck on that,yet) in the NE US, I came across the following FAA site which
provides a map of WAAS coverage. Briefly, all the continental US, New
Foundland,Nova Scotia and Alaska are covered -the dark blue signal area (low HDOP) is the
best. It extends down to mid South America.
