    To the best of my knowledge this is exactly what Pulsetech claim too. I
    also have Rolls Big Red 8D's and use Pulsetechs all the time together
    with Hydrocaps. The batteries use virtually no water and give good
    Hydrometer and Link readings. Assuming one was using Pulsetechs I am not
    sure how one would know would know whether an annual "boil up" to
    desulphate would make any difference??
