Ok, so the galvanized fastenings in the topsides of this (formerely gorgeous)
boat are bleeding rust thru to the surface. I know paint won't adhere with
rust oozing thru the wood.
The fasteners will likely hold for another 50 years. But for cosmetics,how
would one correct the rusting? The only way I know is to remove the fasteners.
Not a pretty prospect.
