"Cruising Directions", published as I recall by Canadian Hydrographics
(equivalent of USA NOAA) , has excellent discussions of the St John Reversing Falls
passage and other cruising guideliness for Fundy Area Waters.
I found the best paper chart prices in 2002 at

now Stamford Ct. They update charts in their inventory.When ordering charts
be sure to ask aboyut their discounts 15% or 20% when I ordered, based on the
number of charts purchased.
They also had superior prices on CMAP NT chart....the wide area for Nova
Scotia also covers Prince Edward Island as I recall. (I sold mine after my trip
on e-bay.)
These guys are very experienced offshore sailors and nice to do business with.
