Just a couple more Bike Friday fans checking in. We've toured a lot with ours and love them - have also carried them aboard in their semi-waterproof cases with sunbrella covers and had no corrosion problems. The suitcase/trailer has hauled groceries and an occasional propane bottle to the boat. They are costly and worth every penny if you really plan to travel by bike - ours have been around New Zealand, done the "Way of St. James" in southern France/Northern Spain, toured from Vienna to Istanbul and from Krakow, Poland to St. Petersburg, Russia. If you are a bike rider, get a Friday, if you just want occasional ground transport, buy a Dahon, if you want to ride to the bus/subway station and take your bike up the elevator to the office, get a Brompton. B.F. also sells used bikes.
