    You can buy "Ginger Juice" in some specialty food stores. It is a thick
    liquid pressed from ground up Ginger. It comes in a bottle, about 4 oz. It seems
    to me it might be a possibility for those who get seasick. I have never been
    seasick yet but after reading this thread will keep a bottle in my boat just
    in case. I just tasted some to be sure it isn't too hot straight, not bad,
    just kinda gingery. Crystallized (candied) ginger is also available in jars.
