Comment: Amen. I don't normally boat far enough offshore, but even in near
coastal conditions, when the winds,rain and seas are all active, getting
anything done is a real hassel. Things never go as planned. Include cold temperatures
and it just gets measureably worse.
It's hard for me to imagine deploying anything overboard in anything even
near storm conditions and guaranteeing it won't get fouled in rudders nor props.
I guess if one is lying broadside and can make to forward to deploy a drogue
from the bow that's better than doing nothing...
I hope I never have to find out first hand.
