Good advice on masking pain, and cruising away from help because you feel
good. For me, a kidney stone could be fatal, as I have but one kidney.
I'll take a pain pill, on the way to the nearest hospital or kidney center.
A few years back, a fellow was diagnosed with a very bad kidney. Preps were
made, and the bad kidney was removed. Unfortunately, he had but one kidney, a
fact missed by all the doctors. He died shortly after.
Sooo, before you play any games with kidney stones, make sure you have two.
Stones can be very, very painful, but having a blockage in your ONLY kidney can
mean 'the long goodby'
Just one more thing to worry about.
