     Yup going to way in here on the drive saver. If you are going to run this
    coast that being the PNW inside passage etc I would recommend one. Having one
    of these might save you a hole lot of grief when you hit something. Up here
    its not if its when for them that get out there lots.

    >From my experience I suggest not overbuilding the shaft coupling. I would also
    recommend the installation of a drive saver. I like and appreciate the weak
    link not that it will always work. Along with the torque there is a tone of
    thrust on the shaft as well.

    Having seen an engine in a bilge on its side or a fractured trans that sprayed
    oil with fire as a result. I choose to go with something that can reduce
    catastrophic damage to machinery.
