Your local hardware store or big/box likely has remote reading wireless
thermometers. I'm using them in engine room, refer and freezer. Temp range on
mine is from -40F to 150F. If you use one in a freezer substitute a lithium
battery for the AA alkaline. NiMH may be okay too but I don't know if they like
to be cold or not.
