    Hello All:
A question for the head expert!
My boat (which is new) has a Jabsco manual head with a holding tank. There is
no Y-valve or other means of direct overboard discharge.
Just prior to having the boat hauled for the winter I had the holding tank
pumped out. The pump seemed to be unusually powerful and I could hear air
being drawn in through the tank vent.
An hour or two later (while the boat wa still in the water) I tried the manual
flushing handle and it would not draw seawater into the bowl in either the wet
or dry position. It appeared as if the seawater intake was blocked. It had
been working fine prior to the pump-out.
After the boat was hauled I visually inspected the intake but could see no
sign of blockage. I then winterized the head and holding tank by pouring a
couple of jugs of plumbing anti-freeze into the bowl and pumping it on onto
    the holding tank.
Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
