You don't even need a documentation service. You can get the lien search and
do the documentation. Everything is on line--and you save $300 to $400
dollars. I have personally had much better experiences buying and selling
boats thru private parties than with brokers. In fact my only bad experiences
were involving utalization of a broker. One rule I learned is NEVER let a
broker find a surveyor and arrange for a survey.
My experience in trying to work with a "buyer's broker" is equally as dismal.
