To all,
It appears from news reports that they were attracted to a large
mansion on the shore, on a hill.
Those on the far side would not have been able to see it as there was a
hardtop.
It has been suggested that to see, the passengers had to go to one side.

and whether they had been seated on fixed benches or chairs as alleged.

| Jeff,

| Your analysis of this particular accident is exactly in line with my
| thinking.
|
| Unfortunately this type is incident is exactly the type of thing that
will
| lead to a rebirth of the idea of forcing everyone on boats to wear
life
| jackets 100% of the time, maybe on tour boats of this type that idea
is
not
| such a bad one but on everyday recreational boats it would be quite a
| nuisance.
